A Question of Logic

This blog is dedicated to developing and propagating the theory of extended additive logic (EAL) as well as highlighting its applications to everyday life. I discovered EAL in 1996 while developing a database engine in Turbo Pascal. While the database project was not successful, the discovery of EAL led me to study its properties and consider the role and nature of logic. I was able to generalize the initial 3- and 4-bit EAL designs to a general n-bit form and develop the theorems that became fundamental to understanding EAL and how it differs from the Aristotelian two-valued logic of booleans. I mostly kept my research to myself, but today I decided that it is valuable enough to warrant making a web page to share some of my results.
